DAV's interest in techno/house electronic music begins 1993. Rich clubbing experience gave him a chance to start his own production. Main source of quality electronic music were clubs and guest dj's mostly here in Zagreb. After gathering all styles together he came up with sound that is based on tech-house & deep-tech style influence. Background of 80's electronic music is also present in his work. As a dj he played in many Croatian & Slovenian clubs with his basic tech-house style, playing only his production. Finally in 2001 he signs for his first release in London and many of them followed. He is also a member of «Stereo Studio» crew here in Zagreb, which is the strongest promoting organisation here in Croatia. Many strong djs were included in those big «Stereo Studio» parties that he played with like : Terry Francis, Asad Rizvi, Grant Dell, Eddie Richards, Gideon Jackson, Richard Grey, Get Fucked, Pure Science, Ian Pooley, Felver, Omar., Mary, etc.. DJ MARY aka Miljenko Rajakovic has been into electronic music since the end of the eighties beginning of ninetines, when he started with a refreshing choice of hard funky music, enriched with EBM (electronic body music), Acid House, New Beat and others. More than 18 years of DJ-ing experiences, ardent dedication, and a unique choice of music (varying from one set to another) have modeled a DJ/Producer, who enjoys a big respect and popularity at the Croatian electronic music scene. His deep love of electronic music has produced an exquisite music taste, which is the primary source of inspiration for his work. He uses his technical skills to perfection, playing with mathematically structured tech sequences and moods, while hypnotizing the audience with relentlessly percussive driving beats. He like dj sets fluctuate between being hypnotic and powerful and he love to knit into them the musical influences mentioned above. Music taste built on electronic music of the 80s and 90s gave him a good basis for the work he doing’ nowadays, from pure tech-house to groovy deep-tech sets. Mary has made it a rule to him to always play music from the soul and with the soul.
2004 he start his own techno Label SOUL ACCESS, 1st real and pure techno vinyl label in Croatia well known in whole Europe and The World, through German Still-Music distribution (from end of 2007 on Holland Triple Vision distribution).
Beginning of 2008 Dj Mary also opened a new label AUDIOMETRIC RECORDS and is more for tech-house & deep tech style of music, what he use to play in his dj sets at last time on many parties. He find himself long time ago in that groovy and atmospheric stuff, so from then his dj/production music start into this direction on his own releases and from other artists on that label.
